About us and a bit more...

In 2014, we moved to this beautiful farm house and we knew that putting up an event barn was meant for us and the community. Through patience, hard work, and visions that became dreams and dreams to reality, we present Luce Mill Farm, a family-owned local event barn for those events that bring us all together.

Weddings, graduation parties, family reunions: you name it we make it happen. With our children, and many farm animals, this barn is here and ready for whatever events you have.

We lived in Georgia and relocated to Michigan after falling in love with the Grand Rapids area. We wanted to raise our kids in a small town, and Fremont was perfect! We have five children, two who are already adults, plus our bonus daughter-in-law.

Kevin’s day job is as a Sales Executive for Johnson Controls Fire Division, out of Grand Rapids. He enjoys being outside with his family, hunting, fishing, hiking, and kayaking.

Crystal works full time at Van Andel Institute on the Finance Team in Grand Rapids. She loves being with her family and friends. Spending time outside, working out, being fit and full of energy are all things Crystal enjoys daily! She also finds joy in working together with the family on their hobby farm, and many ongoing renovations!
